BPI ballistic technicians designed the BallistiScale-1500 with the reloader in mind. Besides being packed with all the necessary features, our scale is America's best value for a high quality compact digital scale. Our laboratory technicians know that a reliable digital scale is an absolute necessity for accurate reloading; no competent reloader should be without one. We wouldn't put our name on a scale and back it with a 10-year warranty unless we believed in it. No other scale has more features and no scale can compete against this value.
Why a digital scale? Once you've used a digital scale, you'll wonder what you ever did without it. No fumbling with beams, no lost heartbeats while waiting for a beam scale to settle. Big LCD backlit readout for those of us with "experienced" eyes. When technology offers a better tool, take advantage of it. Your loads and your sport deserve it.

I have had a Redding 500 grain balance beam for years. Needed something that could weigh above 500 grains and the option to easily and quickly switch back and forth from grains to ounces is fantastic. Comparing it with my old beam scale it seems consistent. Good value and seems durable. Auto shut off after 3 minutes is good...5 minutes would be better but at least I dont have to worry about forgetting to turn it off. Ive only had it a short while, perhaps it deserves a 5 star rating given time.
The BallistiScale-1500 is a priceless tool everyone should own. Comparing its accuracy with that of my beam scales, it is right on.

Great little reloading scale
I have used this scale for a year now, while reloading & it has been great.
One of the nicest features is the 3-minute auto off, when a lot of others have 1 or 2 minute.
Buy one even if you dont need it!!!!
Over the years I have bought many different items from BPI and have NEVER been disappointed. Their products are flawless as far as I am concerned.
Anyway my other larger digital scale has been doing some dancing on me and checking it against my beam scale has me feeling not so trustful of it any more. I now have this little gem from BPI and it is awesome. It locks in and is rock solid and deadly accurate. It is small and handy and fits in a small drawer on my small bench. The experience doing business is absolutely great!! Like I said, buy something from them even if you dont need it just for the experience and start with this scale as you will be so happy you will be weighing everything within reach!! Thank you once again BPI. Don, Minneapolis

I always used beam scales but wanted a digital. I really trust BPI which is what prompted me to get their scale over others.........
Im real happy I did.........
Always start by first calibrating your system, just do like the instructions say to calibrate. When done, turn off, place pan on scale then turn your scale back on. That will zero the scale back with the pan on it weigh station and then ready to use.........
I have tested this using my rcbs 505 and my redding beam scales. Also did a very thorough checking with my rcbs calibration weight kit with different combinations of weights... Flawless!!!.........
This scale comes with a pan and also a 100 gram weight. When you put in calibration mode it will instantly switch over to grams for your weight, so when you turn off then turn back on to re-zero with your pan on, make sure to switch back to grain units.
Real nice blue backlight for display.........
Tare works well although I dont see using that feature much unless you sort of want to work with your weight as zero 0 and measure backwards so to speak., but none the less it does work well.........
The only thing I can figure the [CAL] button is for, is to turn on/off the blue backlight, which turns on by default. I dont see any reason to turn it off if thats what its for.........
This is an awesome scale kit. Only thing that would of made it nicer is if it came in a little storage case to keep the scale, pan and calibration weight all together. I just keep them all in a ziplock baggy to keep dust off of and works fine.........
Cant go wrong with this BallistiScale from BPI; Ill put this scale against any other out there....... As with any scale, beam or digital, recalibrate every so often while in the reloading session; I do about every fifth or sixth use during a reloading session myself. Its fast so better to be safe then sorry with a wrong powder dump weight measurement......... ~Happy ShotShell Reloading!

Great Scale at any price
I tested this scale with a precision weight from a lab scale and it weighted it exactly the same!! You should buy this one.
BPI BallistiScale-1500 Digital Scale
Just received my BallistiScale 1500 in the mail today. I am extremely impressed with it. It is everything that is advertised, and more. Dont let the price fool you. This is a GREAT little digital scale. So far I have found it to be extremely accurate down to 1/10 of a grain. The display is easy to read and it is easy to operate. It holds zero. Coupled with the fact it is made in the USA and has a 10 year warranty, it sure beats the well-known competition whos digital scale costs well over $100, is made in China and has a 1 year warranty. I think I will buy another one of these scales just to keep around as a spare.

Hottest Little Scale in Town !
I purchased this scale to check some of the shsotshell/slug loads Im developing, but soon discovered that it was way too accurate not to also use it for compounding some of the medicines that I take. Im old and slow, and impatient, so the speed is a huge bonus.

I find myself using this more and more. I was a skeptic of digital scales but this one seems to work well. For know I am using both the balance beam and digital one together to compare.
Very good scale
Just got this scale the other day and had to try it out right away. Works great. Compared it to my old beam scale and seems much more accurate. Alot quicker that the old beam. Only thing I didnt like was the small powder pan. Use my larger one off the beam scale on the Tare setting and it works great. Would recommend this scale.
