Ive been using both Fed match and regular pistol primers for large or small caliber. Both work great and have next to no insertion problems and both always fire. Only thing Ive really noticed different with match primers are VERY consistent velocity as long as powder is accurate. Also some harder primers will not set well in crimped brass. These work just as well with crimped no extra work necessary that Ive personally found. All in all Fed primers are best Ive used and Ive tried most major brands over last few years.
