PROPELLANT: LILGUN 26.0 Grains (yes, 26.0 grains)

WAD: HV28  

SHOT: 1 OZ.  Lead #6 or #5.   (NP07* is also a good choice for the first shot).  

*Nickel plated shot penetrates feathers & fat inducing A HIGH LETHALITY. 

FOLD CRIMP: 6-point with a thin Over Shot Card under crimp (for a smooth crimp).  Overshot card NOT required.

Result:  10600 PSI   1270 FPS

A softer feeling (time curve) but hard-hitting load for the 28-gauge.    

TIP:  CURMUDGEON prefers the larger #5 shot for this load and the modified choke.
