LOAD OF THE WEEK 2009-10-09              

New into inventory, REMINGTON 10GA hulls with a plastic internal base.   This hull comes without a primer.   The lab is busy putting together some interesting loads and here is a sample.  

Load# 91009-1445

HULL:  REMINGTON 10-gauge 3.50”

PRIMER: CH209 (the MultiHull primer) by Cheddite  

PROPELLANT: HODGDON LONGSHOT 42.0 Grains

WAD:  MM1035  (#3221035) with (2)1/4”20 ga. felt wads under the shot, in the base of the wad.   

SHOT:  1-1/4 ounce (546 gr.) steel #2   

BUFFER: 20 grains Mix#47

FOLD CRIMP: 6-point (Recommended for new hulls) OS card on shot.  

Result:  10400 PSI 1600 FPS   

Load# 91009-1446

HULL:  REMINGTON 10-gauge 3.50”

PRIMER: REM209P  

PROPELLANT: ALLIANT STEEL 40.0 Grains

WAD:  MM1035  (#3221035) with (1)1/4”20 ga.  felt wads under the shot, in the base of the wad.  

SHOT:  1-1/2 ounce (656 gr.) steel #B   

BUFFER:  25 grains Mix#47

FOLD CRIMP: 6-point (Recommended for new hulls) OS card on shot. 

Result:  8200 PSI 1325 FPS
