TYPE: 1-7/8 (lead), 1-1/4 (steel) The VP70 12ga lead, steel, ITX™ shot column is a static wad with no cushion. This design type is very similar to BPI’s own TPS-series of wads for game loads. Best use is in 3” and 3-½” 12ga hulls. A certain few loads will fit into 2.75” hulls. Load capacities are 1-7/8 lead, 1-1/2 ITX™ shot, and 1-1/4 ounce steel shot. The VP70 is 1.955” in length with a shotcup depth of 1.725”. This is an UNslit wad and slitting must be performed by the reloader or by machine prior to the loading process. The VP70 has tapered interior walls with thickness running near the mouth at .035” to a base side thickness of .060”. The gas seal is .730” diameter and .105” deep.
