These hulls came to us directly from Federal. These are all great looking Federal hulls, but they have some mixed imperfections in them and some different heads/head stamps mixed in the lot. The best part is that we are passing discounted savings on to you!
We've tried to sort out any hulls with crushed crimps (we only found a few in there), but these are packaged on an automated machine and some might slip through. In the images you see here, we tried to pick out some of the typical imperfections you might see, which are:
A bit of smudginess/dirtiness on the exterior.
Fuzzy skiving remains.
Possible dent on the crimp area
Differing heads or head stamps (Federal or Estate - see additional images above)
These hulls have the traditional Federal "IBW" internal spun base wad and a yellow tube. This hull has an incredible internal volume for a 3" hull, which means many varied component combinations and low pressures for the handloader.
Primed with reliable Federal 209A primers and ready to load.
