BP1044 DeciMax 10 Gauge Wads (250/bag)

The BP1044 is a cushioned 10ga wad with a volume-consuming and pressure-reducing cushion section. This feature wad adds great variety and usefulness to the 10ga. Our staff loves this wad for lighter and low-pressure loads for the 10ga. Because we mold it out of tough TPS molding resin, we've expanded the applications of this wad for many different purposes. We don't recommend steel or tungsten loads in older doubles, but modern ten gauges can benefit from our newest load offerings. Even though the BP1044 is a Multi-Metal wad, we use a Mylar Wrap inside the shotcup in order to add bore protection and seal the wad's slits.

Curmudgeon's Loading Tips: The BP1044 is great for light field loads and clay target practice. The BP1044 broadens the usefulness of the 10-gauge, combined with its pre-slit design, making for easy loading. A cushion section accepts loader pressure while accommodating various load heights, minimizing the need for filler wads. We've also developed some great tungsten and duplex loads. Be sure to use Mylar Wrap inside the shotcup.

Applications: The BP1044 is well suited for lead and bismuth loads in lightweight shot charges and small shot sizes.
