Excellent in rifles only. 5/24/2023
Typically .22lr has a 1 in 16 twist rate. Aguila 60 grain subsonic is fantastic in my 1 in 9 twist rate barrel. This 50 grain bullet will stabilize in the 1-16 twist but only in a rifles barrel and is extremely deadly on coons even coyote if you manage to close the distance between you. Pistols do not have a long enough barrel for the 1-16 twist rate of stabilize this bullet. For your pistol a fast bullet that reaches its high velocity quickly is what you need. Cascade 35gn 1500 fps is perfect and available from BPI. CCI Stinger is another excellent choice as well. But if you are hunting with almost any .22lr this subsonic is outstanding.
