H110 is the spherical powder delivers top velocities with top accuracy in the 44 Magnum, 454 Casull, 475 Linebaugh and the 460 and 500 S&W magnums. Silhouette shooters claim it is the most accurate 44 powder they have ever used.
For our purposes, H110 is one of the very best options for .410 bore shotshells, especially among top competitive skeet and sporting clays shooters. It handles all 2 1/2", 1/2 oz. loads, as well as all 11/16 oz. loads for the 3" version. We like it with Stretch and Stump wads.

My go-to magnum powder | 10/31/2019 |
| I use this powder behind 355 grain .44 Magnum slugs in my rifle. I can throw the bullet at roughly 1380 fps consistently with very little deviation. The closer I get to max loads, the more comsistent it gets. I also like it in my .357 loads. It meters consistently; theres next to no deviation out of the RCBS Uni-Flow measure. Worth every penny! | ||

.410 field loads | 7/11/2019 |
| This is the only powder Ive found that can produce a viable field load in .410 bore. Using a 3 inch hull with 3/4 ounce of plated shot @1210fps makes it a very lethal quail & grouse load when used in my Remington 11-48 skeet gun. Got the load years ago from a Layne Simpson article in the now defunct Wing & Shot magazine. Ive killed wild Pheasants & Blue grouse with this load too, it can definitely handle the bigger birds if shots are chosen carefully and taken within 30 yards. Not much different than a 28 gauge 3/4 ounce load, my 28 is more effective but not by a whole lot. Kudos Hodgden | ||

| I use Hodgdon H110 for 357 Mag with 140 Hornady 140gr XTP loads. From my Henry 357 carbine these are hold 3 round touching at 25 yards and 1.5 inch groups at 100 yards. In my Ruger GP100 these are holding under 2 inch groups at 30 yards. Couldnt ask for better. H110 is my goto powder for the 357 mag. | ||
