Excellent Powder | 9/9/2024 |
This powder is quite fast burning so is suitable for 1 oz. on down loads in the 12 gauge. Burns exceptionally clean at lower pressures. Very economical with typical charge weights in the 15 to 16 grain range. Quite dense so wad stack has to be worked out for good crimps but is entirely doable with available components. Start with a new rubber washer and brass washer underneath on the MEC presses. For instance I use a CB0175-12 hot pinkwad to get proper stack with a 7/8 oz. load instead of the CB0178-12 gray wad. In 1 oz. loads use the CB0178-12 instead of the CB1100-12, etc. Plenty of load data available. Also can load 1145 FPS 1 1/8 oz. loads in a pinch but better to use TiteGroup/ High Gun instead for higher velocities and lower pressures. | ||
