Hodgdon Titewad (8 lbs.)
Hodgdon Titewad is an economical, high-energy powder for very light (7/8 to 1 ounce) 12 gauge shot charges. It is a very fast burn rate powder and, as such, will generate energy very quickly.

| Good for 3/4 oz 12 ga loads if you can find it now | 7/5/2026 | |
| I shoot a Remington V3 with 3/4 oz, 12 ga., CB0175 wads, WIN 209 primers,Gun Club or STS hulls you will have a stack/crimp problem with Perfect Pattern 14 gr unless you used a top filler wad. With 15.2 gr. of Titewad you will get an acceptable but slightly dished crimp w/o an overshot filler wad or card. Both of these loads develop 1050-1200 fps. I also find that PP leaves barrel and receiver cleaner than TW and recoil, with PP, s more of a short snap while TW is more of a longer thump. | ||

| Titewad Powder | 7/2/2014 | |
| I know You and all powder manufacturers receive your powder from northern Europe and/or Australia but; I have been loading for 20 young to compete in trap. We cannot afford $70.00 pr case. I have 209 primers and 7 1/2 shot to load their hulls. HELP we cannot compete this summer without powder. | ||

| Biggest Bang for the Buck | 4/24/2011 | |
| Great choice for 7/8 to 1-1/8 target loads. Economical, low charge weights of 15 to 17 grains with Cheddite Primers for 1200FPS. Clean burning. Looked down upon by the Clays, Green Dot and 800x users but they have never tried it. Can lower the cost of a finished shell by more than 2 cents over the more popular target powders. | ||
