OMV SP2 Plastic Hull Fold & Roll Crimp Finisher, Med. Edge
Steel fold crimp finisher designed specifically for standard lead shot loads in plastic hulls. A drill press operating between 900 and 1100 RPMs with a small amount of lubricant applied to the crimper (our Ballisti-Slick works perfectly) is recommended for optimal performance.
This crimp finisher can also be used as a roll crimper. The Crimp Finisher looks like a roll crimper and can even produce roll crimps. On fold crimps it rounds the edges, tapers the top of the shell, and flattens and tightens the fold crimps. It provides that final step that makes hand loads look like factory loads. Crimps are tighter and more consistent, which reduces variation between your loads.
It requires faster RPMs (between 900 and 1100 RPMs) than the standard roll crimper for best results.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON RPM: OMV crimp heads are optimized for operation at 900 RPM, which is the standard speed for their crimp head arbor. Many hand drills and some drill presses do not reach this rotational speed. If you experience crimping issues with OMV products, the first step is to verify that you are operating at the correct speed.
