DATA NOTICE: Do not use VP60 load data with the newly redesigned PT1260 wad. New data has been generated for this wad and will be supplied upon request with any purchase of PT1260 wads.
If you are using larger steel shot (#3 or larger) or if you just want extra protection, we recommend that you use Mylar Wraps inside the shotcup.

Curmudgeon's Loading Tips
TYPE: 1-3/8 (lead), 1 (steel) The PT1260 12ga possesses Multi-Metal characteristics. Lead, steel, and ITX shot can all be loaded in this wad. Designed mainly for field loads, its best use is in 3" 12ga configurations. Some loads for the PT1260 will fit into 2.75" hulls. Best loads are 1-3/8 lead, 1-1/8 & 1-1/4 ITX shot game loads, and 1-ounce (#3) steel shot loads.
PT1260 overall length is 1.730" with a shotcup depth of 1.280" and four 45-degree angled slits (1.20"). The PT1260 has a tapered interior with wall thickness running near the mouth at .035" to a base side thickness of .060". The gas seal is .730" in diameter and .023" deep. The PT1260 wad will load in the 2.75" hulls of all types. When utilized in 3" 12ga hulls a gas seal or nitro card may be utilized. Slower burn rate propellants are the norm for this wad.
