Rio 12ga 2-3/4" Valu-Hulls are from a U.S. supplier that reclaims these hulls through a de-mil process. These hulls were originally meant for factory cartridge production, but Rio has now ceased U.S. cartridge production.  Please note that there ARE imperfections and some unusable hulls in this mix so we've priced them accordingly.

Unprimed, new tubes (no previous crimp). A European primer, such as Rio, Cheddite, or Fiocchi, is recommended for this primer pocket.

Multiple headstamps, including Rio, Federal, and Estate - but these are all Rio hulls.

De-Mil materials: This means that these components have been extracted from manufactured cartridges. The company that performs this action acknowledges that imperfections can and do exist in these components. This is why they are priced very aggressively. If you require perfect components, please look at our specific departments for newly-manufactured components.

Labeled Rio on purchase, Federal headstamp 3/15/2023
Great straight wall hulls, crimp well, using Euro spec primers. Not sure if they work well with Domestic primers as I havent tried them. Loads and Shoots great. Colors allow me to use different loads without labelling each one. Recommended

reasonable hulls 10/20/2022
I was looking for a different color hull for Sporting Clays in a straight wall design to work with my load that I settled on. I couldnt find one until these hulls showed up. Ive used both the Red and Maroon hulls with Cheddite or Fed 209A primers and the loads have worked out great. I load a Z21 wad, 1/8 inch felt card for cushioning, 1-1/8 oz. Nickel Plated lead shot, 22 grains Green Dot powder and top them off with a clear Overshot card and roll crimp them. The combination works great for my long-range Sporting Clays shots. For the cost they are definitely worth a try. You will find a few hulls with some rust, and Ive found one with the original primer still stuck in hull, but I can live with those issues.

Good, Bad, & Ugly 9/15/2022
I should say bad things about these hulls so there will be more for me, but i cant. There is alot of loading data in BPs Advantages Manual. I say tryem you might likeem.
