Detailed Description

Fiocchi 28ga 2-3/4" new/primed hulls (100/bag)

Fiocchi 28 gauge hulls offer high capacity and easy crimping; a terrific all-purpose hull for 28ga clay and field loads. Primed and ready to load, these hulls will meet all your loading needs. These Fiocchi hulls are an excellent choice for almost any style of load. Primed with Fiocchi's 616 standard primer . We have loading data for these hulls in our " Small Bore Manual ," both for lead & nontoxic.

  • Color: Red
  • Top Edge: Skived
  • Depth: 2.433"
  • Length: 2.724"
  • Brass: .315" or 8mm
  • Primer: Fiocchi-616 (209 primer)
  • Headstamp: "FIOCCHI 28"
  • Wall Thickness: 0.030"

The hull is the most important part of your load, so don't ever compromise your safety and performance with old, weak hulls. That's why we recommend starting with new/primed hulls. You get more value: New hulls will always give you more loadings and, because they are primed, you save on your initial primer costs too. Remember, there is no Hazmat charge on primed hulls when shipped via ground in the continental U.S.

Fiocchi hulls feature strong straight-wall extruded tubes and deep plastic disk basewads. This allows for versatile load designs for clays and field loads. These are primed with Fiocchi's reliable and consistent 616 primer. See load data in our Advantages manual, which includes lead, buckshot, steel, Hevi-Shot, ITX non-toxic shot loads, and even slug loads. These hulls roll crimp beautifully too. We now have great steel shot and ITX shot loads using our TPS 28ga wad. Most recent data developments are in the Small Bore Manual.

SHIPPING: Ammunition or hulls shipped by ground service do not require a HazMat fee. Any ammunition shipped by air service does require an Air HazMat fee. Our sales associates can help you with any questions.

John, We haven't heard of any problems like this with the Fiocchi 28ga hulls. Sounds like a resizing problem. A new shotshell will expand to the parameters of whatever chamber in which it has been fired. Then it must be resized. It could require better resizing than your current tool is providing. Please talk to one of our techs; they'll be glad to help you.

Mag loads 7/16/2017
Use these for 1 oz. Mag loads for doves. 1 oz. of 7 1/2 and LilGun makes for one dove killing machine.

Versatile Fiocchi 28ga primed hulls 2/18/2017
I have loaded target loads with Sporting 28 wads,3/4 oz shot with PB, which is no longer available, as well as 7/8 and 1 oz shot with LilGun powder using mag28 wads for 1oz and either 28-II or PT 2895 wads with the 7/8 oz. I highly recommend these hulls for 28 gauge reloaders.
