For copper identification purposes, updated guideance specifies that copper pellets must be coated with a flourescent powder coating and loaded in translucent hulls with translucent wads. This combination of components allows the shot to be detected by ultraviolet (UV) light. Simply mix a small amount of this ultra-fine flourescent glow powder into your shot prior to loading. (A little goes a long way: Approximately 1 cc per 10 pounds of shot.) This powder coating will create a distinct UV signature glow that identifies your copper shot.
