3/4 & 7/8 oz Perfect Pattern light target loads 5/24/2025
Why endure recoil? These loads break skeet clays with a Cylinder choke and 5-Stand clays with a IC choke. I use an Over Shot Card for top filler to get a good crimp for 7/8 oz loads and for 3/4 oz I use a 1/4 inch slice of 5/8 Backer Rod foam instead. They function fine in my Remington V3. Recoil is amazingly low: practically zilch. The only fatigue I perceive is holding, raising and swinging the gun. Perfect Pattern powder is the most cost effective powder for these light loads and it is available. PS: This wad works best in tapered cases.

Our ballistic lab recommends using a 1/4" Felt or Cork wad for this purpose. This is the tested method which has worked for decades. Thanks!

My wife loves it. 5/17/2025
My wife is small frame and she and I are starting to get arthritic. I loaded these with a fairly low charge of red dot from the Lyman 6th Manual. This are really fun to shoot. We can shoot hundreds of them with most of the fatigue coming from reloading. I also believe with less shot they will force us to be more precise with our shots. Im also loading so 3/4 oz 20 gauge loads for my grandson.

Great Wad for 16 yard Trap 5/25/2024
Have used this wad for years on the 16 yard line to crush the birds. Excellent loading and stacks. Have even gone back to the 20 with great results for a change of pace. Keeps things interesting for informal shooting and stretches the shot budget.
