Detailed Description

MEC Sizemaster single-stage reloader #8120

The MEC Sizemaster offers simplicity without sacrificing convenience and efficiency. SizeMaster is loaded with premium features, which makes it's the choice of hunters worldwide. Hunting loads are more complex than target loads, which means they need the individual attention only a good single-stage reloader can provide. The Sizemaster is a fine example of a thoughtful single-stage reloader - at a great price.

Resizing: When shotshells are fired they expand to the dimensions of your shotgun's chamber. To be reloaded, they must be resized accurately. The highly accurate Power Ring collet resizing system (same design as MEC's Super Sizer resizing tool) returns the shell base back to factory specifications, whether you are loading high or low base. BPI's ballistic experts HIGHLY recommend this resizing tool, especially if you are shooting a gun with a tubular magazine.

Priming: The EZ Prime auto primer feed is standard equipment on the Sizemaster. EZ Prime dispenses primers automatically, which is a great time saver and a calming influence when loading. (*The automatic primer feed feature is not available on .410 bore loaders.)

Versatility: Sizemasters are adjustable for 3" shells and are available in 10, 12, 16, 20, 28 gauge, and also .410 2-1/2" or 3". MEC #8165 Die Sets are available to convert your Sizemaster to any other gauge.

*STOCK NOTE: Even if this reloader is listed out of stock, we have multiple shipments arriving from MEC every week. Our volumes assure speedy shipment of your MEC reloader. Please call our customer service department at 1-888-273-5623.

BPI's Super Crown Crimp Starter

You can improve MEC performance with just a couple convenient accessories:

Better Crimps: When loading new/primed hulls, your crimps may not stay closed if you are using a standard plastic crimp starter. The Super Crown Crimp Starter is designed to put a lasting crimp memory into new plastic, essential for tight and functional crimps on new hulls. The Super Crown also provides better crimps on once-fired hulls too.

Shot & Powder Charges: For added versatility and convenience, we recommend the Adjusta-Drop adjustable charge bar . This excellent accessory quickly pays for itself in bushing and charge bar savings and it gives you almost limitless load flexibility.

Curmudgeon's Loading Tips:

Resizing high-brass hulls: If you are experience resistence when resizing high-brass hulls, try just a little bit of Mica Wad Slick on the brass, die, or resizing area of your reloader. A little dry lube goes a long way toward saving reloading sanity. Also, the MEC Super Sizer works very for all high brass hulls.

progressive / single stage 3/12/2013
Got one sizemaster in 28 gauge and one grabber in 20 gauge. Think they are both great machines once you get them set-up for the hulls & shot wads your using. You have to make those adjustments for the finished round to look like new.Wish Mec had other powder bushing to pick from .The 410 will be next and then follow with the 16 gauge for pheasant.
Best Single Stage 12 Ga Reloader 12/9/2012
I looked over RCBS, Lee and MEC. Decided on the MEC due to nice built and quality. A lot of hunters also recommended this over the RCBS Minigrand due to ease of use, quality and the many after market accessories for it. I really enjoy using the Sizemaster and have loaded over 3,000 rounds of accurate 12 ga trap and slug loads. No problems and will continue to use. Am considering getting another one in 20 ga to replace an aging Lee Load All. Nice work MEC!!

Nothing but the best with MEC Sizemaster! 1/2/2011
Wanting to get into reloading, I researched pretty heavy, and decided on the MEC Sizemaster for many reasons. I really enjoy the fact that while not a progressive, this allows me the flexibility to reload buckshot and even slug being I can skip/swap stations. The MEC Sizemaster is built like a tank. The gears wont wear out anytime soon either. While the chargebar and powder bushings are built really nice, I would highly suggest getting the Universal charge bar when you order your MEC Sizemaster. It just makes life so much easier, not having to worry about all the bushings and just dial in, and the bottle support for it. Its not a necessity, just makes your experience with your new MEC even better then ever. But even with out those two, youll still enjoy your sizemaster to no end.
